This undergraduate course at UND emphasizes knowledge, awareness, and skills associated with multicultural competency and developing a greater understanding of social systems of privilege and oppression. Emphasis is placed on examining the role cultural context plays in understanding yourself and your relationship with others. Experiential exercises, readings, films, podcasts, and other media will be used to help students increase their awareness of our multicultural society.
